Dear Diary: My Father's Birthday Is Near Now

My father's birthday falls on Thursday next week but we will celebrate it a few days after that on the weekend because my siblings will not be able to attend on weekdays as they have to go to their work. Actually it will be a combined celebration because my birthday is a few days after that birthday of my father.

I am worried about the passing days really because my father is now 72 years of age going 73 but he is still strong and likes to eat vegetables. My mother too is still strong and both of them dislikes eating fats and all that unhealthy things like softdrinks and junk foods.

So I am happy about their health and I thank God that they have no serious health issues although they are taking anti hypertensive medications. Other than that they are quite fit for a senior citizen comparing to others. You also could not see my father's real age because he tints his hair black always with hair coloring so I might see his real hair color to be all white if he stops coloring them black.

Well we could not turn back time and I just wished that there is such a thing like a restart button so I can restart my life and do the things that I have done wrong the right way. But there is no button like that so we just have to move on with life and live our lives as rightly as we can, doing right things to others as well so we can live in a harmonious manner and this making each other's lives easier.

My mother always insists of celebrating our birthdays and she would at least prepare some foods for us to eat together. We might just buy some foods rather than cook them because it will be just so convenient that way. Thank goodness that we can just order them online to be delivered in our home or to be picked up as an option too.
