Here I am on Steemit

Personal information:

I'm in my mid thirties. Live in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and work as self employed controller (finance, reporting & analysis).

Besides my day to day job I love everything that contains numbers and/or is about economy. In 2017 I noticed that blockchain and crypto currency is becoming a hype. I started to read about it. Bought some crypto. And then I've learned about the existence of Steemit.

My goals@Steemit:

I see this as a big adventure. But of course I set some goals to have a clear view on how and when my adventure is successful.

My goals are:
1 fully understand Steemit
2 learn more about blockchain and crypto currency
3 try to earn some money. I aim at a minimum of $250 for whole 2018

My contributions:

Achieving my first two goals is probably not that hard. It's a matter of finding the right steemonians and read, read & read!

Earning some money will be really challenging. As I think there are more people that earn (almost) nothing than there are people becoming millionaire 😜

I will contribute by posting about:
1 my Steemit journey
2 everything related to economy
3 crypto currency
4 commenting on other posts

Pretty much yes, it puts your steem out to all my followers. The initiative also give you a chance to have a browse and interact with other users or ask others to resteem you as well. The main thing with steemit is exposure. Hopefully it helps mate.
