Spot of the day: Feel the vibe of Sluseholmen - One of my best evening and nighttime image sets. Part 2
Here is part 2 of the tranquil and relaxed Sluseholmen neighborhood. If you didn't catch the first part I did about this yesterday you can find it HERE. The day before yesterday I took a stroll through the quiet streets of this new neighborhood of Copenhagen that is built on an artificial peninsula and has small canals running along the buildings. Since I was out with my camera and gear, I set up shop here for the evening and managed to get about 100 good shots over about 2-3 hours (not going to share all but just my top picks). I tried my best to capture the vibe of this place.
This place really has some fascinating architecture and an interesting atmosphere. I especially liked the floating little terraces that some of the residents have, which are accessible by a ladder. Would be a good point to go on a paddle board from. And you can easily get to central Copenhagen from here via water.
I took these shots using a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 80-200 mm 2.8 AF-D lens (I wrote about it Here) and also, a Nikkor 24-85mm 3.5-4.5G ED.
Sit back and feel the vibe of this place... :)

Many thanks! Appreciated. I thought that I shouldn't keep them for myself.

That is a beautiful place with amazing buildings, its so clean and fresh:)
Clean and fresh...I think those two words describe Danish architecture and design spot on! :) Thanks for the visit! :)
I love your night shots!
Thank you! I am a night owl so I enjoy taking long exposure shots at night. That's kinda what pushed me towards getting a full frame. Now I am just trying to come to terms with it an master it. Next on my list is light-painting and mastering my "simple" remote SB-600 Speedlight flash.
good task. And get a soft-box. That makes flashing easier and looks way better.
Was thinking of a Gary Fong Lightsphere Collapsible Flash Diffuser... A4 piece of paper also works as a budget hack.
I did the paper-thing. Taped it in front of my internal Mini-Flash and increased the flash-power. Now I have an internal Soft-Box in my D750 :-)
(I lost some range, which is ok for me).
