Bonsai Tree's.
Hey everyone, since my last post was a random post about 'Trees' I may as well do a proper one with real tree's and what better day on Friday with #marketfriday and @dswigle Do check her out here pop in a nice entry give her some love here https://steemit.com/marketfriday/@dswigle/market-friday-springs-into-planting
I recently jumped onto my E-Scooter in search of some epic bonsai pics and I was lucky enough to find some nice ones at a Nursery close to where I stay.
This tree below is called a 'spekboom' it's 'vetplant' succulent and grows very easily from cuttings. We actually have tons of these on the plot where I stay, this one much nicer as it is a bonsai. Many folks use these leaves and stalks in salads, it has a bitter taste but apparently is rather healthy to eat.
They also have a nice array of conifers available for sale. Many folks use these as Christmas Tree's too, I did a little research check more out here as per wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinophyta
Thorn Tree's make incredible bonsai's too, this nursery also has a nice spread of these, commonly referred to as Acacia read more here as per wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vachellia_xanthophloea
Nature the incredible. I trust you have an amazing weekend.
Cheer$;)
Well, that is too funny! I was just getting ready to say that @old-guy-photos will be sure to come and peruse this post as he and bonsais are the best of friends. But he beat me to the punch! I have to get up early in the morning to beat him.
I think I'm still in all about how this Bonsai thing actually works. I get that they are Miniature versions of a full-size plant, but nature sure it's amazing in the fact that it allows the species to continue growing and living in their altered state. There are so many of them that I actually prefer in the miniature version Oh, perhaps it's just because I'm used to the other and this is special.
I want to thank you for taking the time out to jump on your scooter and get these Epic Bonsai pictures! I have actually not seen that many in one place. I'm interested in the succulents that seemed to grow very well. I imagine that those little baby Christmas trees would be the perfect thing for an apartment. Thank you for opening up the world of bonsai for #MarketFriday and as always I appreciate the time spent gathering pictures and writing a post.
I hope you have an amazing weekend and thank you for visiting Market Friday!
Upped and steemed

Aww my friend you are far too kind and thanks again for the tip. I have always really loved Bonsai and anything nature at that, these are really pretty just extremely pricey, maybe the time has come to make my own ? I will if you will do we have a deal? hehe x
Aww man I am a big fan of bonsais! Here they are expensive. You should start and train your own. I got 2 going from scratch. I am too cheap to buy one lol.
Lol ditto matey I am not cheap just broke.. What species are yours? I plan to make one too I just challenged @dswigle to make one lets see how this pans out :) Cheer$;)
Oh well I happened to do a post about it.

How did you get them going for free?
I bought a $5 plant and did the initial trim and started the training. They use wires.
I actually did a post about it :)

It is really exciting when someone opens their van or truck and spontaneously sets up a stand for selling bonsai trees.
Most of these trees I would not pay very much money for. The tree in the second photo looks very old and valuable though. The trunk spreads out into the roots to show a nice wide spread, and it has an interesting knothole feature.
Second one looks legit brother. A wild fig I do believe, I love how it actually looks like a small tree, some do not. Cheer$;)

I never knew there were so many different kinds of bonsai trees. I need one for my office. Would definitely help to reduce some stress to get to trim them every once in a while.
