Big milestone and beer exchange update

I've been on steemit for just a bit over 3 weeks now and have been thoroughly enjoying it. There's just so many great people on here, all posting their thoughts and ideas, everyone growing together, what's not to like?! I was quite taken back with the back and forth exchange of helpful tips everywhere.
There's so much more to learn and my journey is only at its start but, like countless others, I have a great feeling about this!
A big part of my growth can be traced to the fine folks at #steempub and especially @buzzbeergeek whom I've convinced into trying one of my home brews (not that he was hard to talk into sampling a new beer, haha). You should definitively check him out, he seems to be having a good time at the moment.
Speaking of this, the beer should be getting into his hands any time now.
I just hope it made it over there safe and sound. I've used NASA techniques in the packing process, mainly bubble wrap and duct tape. If something can't be sorted out with duct tape, it's probably an unsolvable problem.

I don't know how much you'll enjoy the duct tape when you're going to have to unpack it though, it's almost more tape than beer :)

On average I've done 1 post a day, although I think 2 might be better. I've had days with no posts at all as well.

I think I might need to get back into home brews. I saw @buzzbeergeek's posted about receiving the beers you sent and got real jealous of how awesome your beers looked bottled! It's been way way too long since I last brewed a beer, not sure I could even really claim that it was my beer since I was only 16 and doing it with my dad. I'll see what the missus thinks ;)
Get back in and brew whatever you can think of, just for the fun! The kits are pretty good now. Tell the missus she can pick the hops variety :)

I gotta be sure to not make the same mistake that my buddies made and do a dark stout that takes 5 months...and they started it in February, perfect timing, everyone loves a stout in August heat lol

Oh yeah, I'll probably go for something that I can have early fall, late summer if I can get on this fast enough. Might have to see what my pops still has in terms of equipment this weekend.
