The reason why the price of steem is so low, and how we fix it!
Why is the price of STEEM always under so much pressure?
This question got me thinking about the current state of STEEM today. After some thought I realized my problem is not with the Steemit platform, or the STEEM blockchain, my problem stems from the STEEMIT ecosystem outside the platform hindering my ability to make more STEEM. There should be a symbiotic relationship between exchanges and my steemit accounts, and right now Binance and Poloniex do not allow withdrawals of steem at the moment, and sometimes it makes me wonder which side are these exchanges on?? All I know for sure is these two websites policy towards STEEM maintenance are really putting a kink in my steem trading plans!
These steem coins would be really useful if I could just send them as profit straight to my steemit account right after a trade!
When Binance and Poloniex block STEEM withdrawals for prolonged periods of time they are decreasing the utility of STEEM, resulting in these lower depressed prices. It is manipulation in plain sight, and luckily is probably coming to an end soon if we all stand up to these exchanges and demand answers. If we do that then I think think they will finally "finish the maintenance" and open up utility and liquidity along with the withdrawals.
If you want to get these exchanges to fix STEEM, or at lease the price action, sign up on these accounts and buy a STEEM or two and open a ticket and ask them when they are going to open up withdrawals. If enough of us complain I'm sure they will get the idea!

Please note I am very skeptical of HitBTC and have never used the exchange, however I do plan to test it out with small amounts if and when they ever let my SBD in!

The big exchanges manipulate the price and when they screw up they block the acounts until they get their money back.
We need decentralized exchanges.
Decentralized exchanges rule! Bitshares always works great and has the best deal on STEEM anyway!
The way I see the price of steem is more favorable now as we have time to buy more steem on a lower price.
I know and we all know that sooner or later the price will have a boom. Just look over the history. So buy buy and hold. The time will come when steem will get its power back. With this being said, thank you for this analysis @coininstant ! Great article like always.
first i think the steemit team need to fix the issue with exchanges like poloniex and hitbtc the prices are going down due to the suspension of withdraw and deposits
