I completely agree with you in this aspect, especially upon STEEM a lot of people love to demonstrate their power but don't bother to give reasons for their actions which is not at all acceptable but people are kinda forced to accept as they have so-called POWER which people fear could be used against them. I just can't take it, how people can carelessly flag people with mentioning why ? If they give so much attention towards making the platform clean then why the heck they dunno wanna make the existing users improve by just mentioning the damn cause they can improvise in future content ! I really feel pity for such lunatics who just use their power for showin I'm The Boss Around here ! lol

Thanks. In fact you motivated me to create such content. I thought that people should hear that from me as well. I hope those who are conserned will got the point. I really feel bad while inviting people to steem all the time and when they join because of me, they may meet such relation. I have also reputation in the web, not only in steem and I want to invite people to something good. I hope more steemians will explain to others, why they are flagging them before doing so. At least they should ask them first and if they don't listen to them, of course they have the complete right to flag. But, flagging without saying a word, is really rule and impolite.
Truth is in a decentralized and capitalist setting Which the world is now based on, there's always the gulf in class and because of this some people have attained some unbridled power which remains unchecked and when these people are questioned or tackled they tend to flex this power in other to kill the voices of people and oppress them. So abuse of power is as a result of decentralization and capitalism really. So yes when there's an unchecked and unnecessary power demonstration on people then it's definitely an abuse. This is rampant on any decentralized setting Steem being an example
Of course. That's why we have to learn a lesson and explain to those who have power that they could abuse people with it. We are doing our best to invite people to this blockchain and we are inviting even our friends and families. We don't want to see them abused because they are the most important people to us. So, less abuse we will have on the chain, the more people we will able to invite without fear that they will be abused here !

Very recently I saw couple of people boosting my video with tons of rewards, it was very interesting to see but when I visited their profile and saw the @steemd profile, they also had series of downvotes to certain number of post, now I don't know what reason it was, but I believe they must have done it for appropriate reason and to promote original content and curation and penalise the wrongdoers those not following the protocols. This is bit scary as well, downvotes has some serious effects on account, I hope these power should belong to only those who understand it purpose and should be used las options.

You are right that they downvote as well and we have more steemians doing so. I would like to see them all explain to the creator why he/she was downvoted. When I see someone downvoting without telling someone why, I feel it's just a kind of power demonstration, because not all people understand what's right and what's wrong. When I was new here and a lot of people when they started, they also learned what they learned, just from downvoting, but it shouldn't be the case. First we ask people to not do those things that are not allowed, let him/her know about that and only in case he/she will not listen, it could be flaged.

It is fairly new account and everyone is transferring the Steems, is this something I am missing here.
Yeah, the payment that you paid for your subscription gives you 2 hours of videos. If you record videos with more than 2 hours, you will have to pay $0.16 worth of steem for each 1 minute of video created.
So, you have the choice, or to save those 2 hours like I said in this video :
Or to record without caring and to pay more. I was making little videos to save that, but in the end I decided to record big videos and start paying.

Indeed, I faced this situation before that too without any further explanation to why these downvotes were gifted to me. Very often I give mouthful and be sarcastic and deliver my message through satiric manner, may be for some reason these downvotes can't digest the fact of freespeach. For many individuals freespeach is bookish theory but to put it in practice is all different game. @clixmoney thank you for bringing this up.

It is great that you authored a video on this subject. Maturity is when we know how to manage the powers that be given to us. Like every other resources that makes life good, power must be well managed, even steem power. It is lack of character for #newsteem for one to take undue advantage of SP to inflict and bring others down.
Every good reason for a downvote should be clearly spelt out in the comments section of the Post to avoid misunderstanding and downvote wars.
