Introduction post
Hi!
Considering that my To Do list mentioned that introducing myself on the platform is a tradition, I figured I should do it as quickly as possible to not break with it. While I might not be the most interesting person, I'll try to lead with the things that could possibly make me sound interesting after all. We'll see if it works out!
My name is Judith, a 22-year old student of Creative Business in the Netherlands. As you can see in the picture above, I'm also an aerialist-to-be. I'm happiest upside down, whether this is in silks, a hoop or a pole. Yes, a pole. No, I'm far from a stripper, can barely walk in heels and prefer to keep my clothes on, but man, do I love the sport! If you can set your prejudice aside, it is a great workout, great for your confidence and the people within the community are honestly the nicest. Long story short, I've been doing it for over three years now and have started teaching beginner classes of silks since last February, so I guess I'm pretty okay at it :)
As for my interest in Steemit: I've recently started studying blockchain technology and its implementations and am slowly getting the hang of it. While looking into different blockchain-based platforms, Steemit popped up. Naturally, I was curious, so I decided to make an account and see what it's all about (so far, I've already succeeded to make this post, so I guess that's the first step!).
The last interesting fact I'm going to share for now is my love for plants. I currently own over fifty houseplants (from which quite a few are rare!) even though I only live in a room of 17 square meters, and in every city I visit I have to go to the botanical gardens to surround myself with tropical beauty. Might make me a bit weird, but at least the air I breathe couldn't be cleaner I suppose, so I've got that going for me.

My family has always enjoyed these types of skills as they are a great way to demonstrate strength and balance of ones body. I have seen a couple of other community members share similar skills so you can definitely find some communities here to help you begin your journey!

Welcome! Good introduction post. I also love plants and being upside-down, but I prefer my plants to be outdoors and I choose a different acrobatic sport.
I see you've already been welcomed by a number of bots. That threw me off at first, but they're just trying to help - they find you through the #introduceyourself tag.
