Sometimes in the app store, you find some free games that you don't understand why they are free.

Cally's Cave 3 is certainly one of them.

If you like old games like metroid or castlevania, you will surely enjoy Cally's Cave.

So what is Cally's Cave ?

A combination between a shooter, a platformer and some RPG touch.
You control a little girl who's going to try to save her parents but for that, you will have to make a path between a tons of level, beat many monsters and fight some giant boss.

The game have 8 zones where you can find more than 100 levels.
You will have access to various weapons who can be upgrade, by killing monster or with some buying in the shop.

The level are simple but well designed for this kind of tiny games. Not too hard, not too easy, you can't rush the levels, you will have to pay attention to the enemies and their attack because you can be destroy very fast and the game is punishing. You do restart at the last checkpoint and sometimes, they are far !

To help you, a shop is here where you can find some consumables and a lot of customisation for your weapons. The weapons are not the only thing who can be upgraded, your tiny character will also have access to some new capacity (triple jump, roll...).

Seriously, for a free game, there seems to be a lot of content to do. I already played few hours and i'm only in the third or fourth zone and if you beat the game, there are two new mode : a new game + and a wave mode where you can try to beat waves of bad guys.
