Cps has really kidnapped my son!*edit*
Edit** I found him, he wss there but becauseI didn't have specific information I was told he wasn't there. I am so relieved, now on to court to get his cases heard.
I have spent days calling and getting the run around. I went to the Cps office to find out where my son is, they will not give me any information what so ever. I left there because I was becoming irate and wasn't about to go to jail for disorderly conduct! I have called at least 12 people from cps and the YOC and no one will either return my call or answer at all. I am starting to lose my patience.
I am not giving up on my child this easily. Who did they think they are telling meI am not allowed to know where he is? This is seriously getting me nervous, did they get in contract with his abusive father, who abused me, who I left behind whileI was pregnant, so my child could live? Is he in a foster care home where he may be subjected to abuse these are questionsI need answered and not one person within this system that I have came across has been able to ease these thoughts. I want to go in there and walk though those doors and demand they tell me, but I tried that and they threatened to call the police, they are running me and my family through more than what was necessary to get him help. I am so upset right now and have made more calls than I have in months just to find out something. It isn't right! I have court May 2nd for his juvenile case so hopefully by then someone will return my calls...

Have you been to court yet about your son being taken by CPS?
I should have thought of warning you initially and am so sorry that I forgot. At least where I live, the Social Workers will often not even tell the family what date they are supposed to be at court. This is absolutely illegal, but they often do it.
They need to get the Judge's okay on the order to remove your son -- which will be the very first day that Family Court resumes after they take your child. Around here, it is always on Wednesday.

I sure hope that you were at that court date, or the Judge will automatically assume that you do not care about him enough to appear, and he will then automatically approve the removal.
Next Wedensday is the court date. At least she does have that. Hopefully he can be located before the court date. But if not then at least by Wednesday she should know something.
It looked to me like the May 2nd court date was for some juvenile criminal behaviour and not in regards to CPS custody, but maybe that is not the case.
There would have been at a CPS court date within a week of him being taken.
I just went back and saw the post from a month ago, and it said that she did go to court, but that the Judge didn't listen to her.

I finally got a response from a cps supervisor we are going to court on the 9th of May i kept calling until one of them caked me back i have not gotten a lawyer at this time but i was told my son was moved to a more secure part of the campus and that they had tried getting a hold of me i just got off the phone with this person she called me from her personal cell i came back to update my post thank you all for helping me try to figure it all out...i am going to court on the 2nd for the juvenile delinquency and then again after his testing is completed lb the 9th i wasn't giving up as its been almost a week since i have known anything on his whereabouts. A little more relieved but it's just getting started really once the juvenile court takes place then cps said they will go from there since he is what they call dual status. Thank you so much!
You do have the right to a lawyer and even to have one appointed for free if you cannot afford it. I found this, just a general overview but maybe it can help.

I never believe that an agency like CPS has malicious intent, but know that they can be overworked and underresourced and see the worst in people, which can easily lead to neglect of your rights when you are most vulnerable.
Get a Lawyer, and remember that these people have no souls. They are evil incarnate, and Thus far, I have not seen a single thing they have done, that has helped anyone; and the children are the most hurt! Praying for you, but do NOT deal with them alone!
Keep giving your best effort mam, don't lose your hope to be reunited with your lovely son again, you are a strong woman that's why you're facing this condition. Your son really need you, don't be weak or frightened, you have to stand there until you get him back.

Thank you and yes I am doing my best to keep my cool! My main concern is making sure he gets the right help and hopefully make some changes for the better. It's been a rough few days but I'm glad i stayed persistent and got a response finally although its not what i wanted i want him home but i also think of the behaviours and think something has to work.

Agents of the CPS and associated agencies will not tell you about pending family court dates, @Charisma. I am glad you have found out about the impending 'court' date.

Play it smart though, I think it is wise not to voice your anguish in public. This is what they want!, as they can easily label you an out of control parent.
Yes, i know unfortunately I've already done such things but since then have spoke with a supervisor who i explained things to about my raging i know it will still come out tho they can be tricky people...
Yes, passion can work against us if we show them emotions if we show them where we hurt. Factual, calm statements will allow us to prevail.

Hey I too have no clue where my daughter is (I have a very good idea) my advice... Please DON'T GO INTO CPS ANGRY! Don't show your emotions or next thing you know you will have to deal with them stating your out of control, and can't handle your emotions! Be calm... Take a breath.... Record conversations, get an email address (paper trail) start emailing, and think very carefully before you speak. Easier said then done.... Trust me I too wanna go flying over there and hug my girl but the things they would come up with are not in your favor.
They have to tell you a court date! I woukd sit there at 8am and not leave until I had a meeting (recorded) and CALM! DO NOT FLIP! 💜😢 Try. Get a lawyer asap. So he can start working in applications to submit in may.
Thank you for that and I'm sorry you're going through something similar. I did finally received a call back after i posted this and I'm suppose to be finding more out at court on the 9th i am hoping all goes well and everything is for the betterment of my family. Although I'm still taking everything they tell me with a grain of salt and trying not to lose my cool with them as it hasn't done me any good i completely agree with doing everything with a level head as i haven't always done that. If your son is in juvy, call his probation officer. You should be able to visit him in juvy. Make sure he also has a defense attorney representing him in juvy court.
My heart is so sad for you @charisma777. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I'm glad that you can find some help through @familyprotection.
This is so wrong and it is kidnapping and these people are the real criminals that we have to protect our families from.

Thank you. I edited so others knew i had lifted him. The battle is just beginning but hopefully it'll be peaceful and my son and our family will be brought back together.
