The most famous sculptural work by Djordje Jovanovic about Kosovo's color is a monument to the Kosovo heroes at the Kosovo Hero's Square in Kruševac, which at the same time represents the symbol of Kruševac since 1904, when it was solemnly discovered by King Petar I Karađorđević on the occasion of the celebration of the centenary of the First Serbian Uprising. The foundation stone was laid on the occasion of the celebration of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Kosovo Battle of 1889, King Alexander Obrenovic.
