The Summons
Hi Friends,
I received the dreaded jury duty summons in the mail yesterday!
Jury service is an important part of the US court system and people’s civic duties, but it doesn’t change the fact that it is an inconvenience and can be a challenge to work around.
One of the hardest things for me is that I work at a smaller company and have a lot of roles and responsibilities – there isn’t someone who can fill in for me and other people giving my team instructions just wouldn’t work well. So, I end up working a little remotely, and making phone calls during breaks…. I am sure it will all get worked out this time like it usually does.
Oh well, I will just have to act crazy so they don’t put me on the final jury!
Is Jury duty a thing where you live? If so, how do you feel about it?
I appreciate you stopping by today,
Brian

These guys used to get me every 2 years like clockwork... went 3 times. Then I moved a couple times and haven't heard from em since. :)
Hehe, very true... they can’t summon you if they can’t find you!
that totally sucks!
