Never Gets Old
Hi Friends,
My wife thinks I have a little problem – I have a number of hobbies that I have taken up, but which I rarely do. Yet, I still somehow spend money on those hobbies so that when I actually get to do them, it enhances the experience. I don’t see this is a problem, though perhaps not always the smartest move, financially.
Well, I just paid $150 for a new metal detecting pinpointer, which I am hoping will find me some gold nuggets next time I go out gold prospecting. There are others that are around $30, but I want a good one so that I have a higher chance of finding the gold nuggets I am hoping for.
So, the package arrives today – it never gets old waiting for fun things to come in the mail! Makes me feel some excited for some reason…. So perhaps that does mean I have a problem buying things for my hobbies of which I do not use very often?
It seems to me that dinner and a movie cost $150 these days, so I consider this a bargain as it will be something I hopefully have for a long time and its not that much money in the grand scheme of things.
Do you get excited waiting for packages?
Thanks for dropping by today,
Brian
