How to travel with money cash and cards

Budget

  1. Set out your budget for the trip on paper

Emergency plan

  1. In that budget have $500 or $1000 in a back up account for an emergency
it can be linked to a card or in a different account then moved when need be, to the card account

Cards

  1. You can keep a credit card as back up if you dont do the 1000 cash emergency
tho i do not like credit cards and it can get stolen ,hacked or and you have to pay it back with in a short time be for the interest % gos up
Why stress your self traveling keep some cash in an account it cant get stolen and can always be there for a very long time never touch it keep it as a Emergency travel back up plain

Insurance

4.Get travel insurance.
Do not travel over over seas with out it
locally in your country you should be ok with out it tho depending what hobbies and sports you like to do

Card

  1. Have a back up debit card keep it with your pass port locked away.
So you should travel with 2 or 3 cards.
1 card you use the other 1 or 2 cards are back up cards is the first gets lost, stolen or hacked
and should be debt cards not linked to the same accounts

Cash

  1. Cash as back up $50 to $100, with your pass port in the currency in the place you travel in
and $50 to $100 in your local currency for taxi fares if need to get some where quick from the place you are going

Gold

  1. Have a piece of gold in the form of a neck lace or bracelet at the value of about $250 to $500, in 18k, 22k or 24k
that you can pawn or give to some one to help you out if need be and keep in locked away with your pass port or in a safe or some place when you travel where people cant see it or steel it with ease

Pay as you go PAYG Vs card paying Vs Pre loaded currency

  1. Cash PAYG you can work out a cash budget for a day in cash
no need to travel with a card you can get your money out every few days at a ATM and use cash
if you do just take the amount needed per few days and you travel and put the rest in the safe with the pass port for the next few days, be care full of ATM fees.
    CARD
Use a debit card and go online and send your money to that account/card if its a debit card send the amount a day at a time or few days at a time just load the card as you go , be care full of ATM fees
    Pre load Currency
be care full with your card loaded in one currency keep it in your front pocket or some where safe as you travel
you may want 2 pre load cards 50% in 1 and 50% in the other for safety some thing to think about if you are doing this style of budgeting

NOTE
Be aware of where the local hospital is and police station
It is also a good idea to know the basics in first aid or go do your first aid course they do not cost much and most courses can be done in a 1 day course
Females handbags or man bags or camera bags, wear over your body from one side to the other, not just over the shoulder
Lock your back pack, brief case, camera bag, etc if its on your back or under a seat when resting or sleeping lock it. cable ties, small pad locks, or cable lock it a all in one cable
if you have a chip in your card you may want to get a slip case for your card so is can not be skimmed, tho most cards only have a $100 max limit per transaction.
IF you live in Australia look in to a (velocity global wallet ) a Pre load debit card, under the Virgin flyer program or a Qanats flyer card Pre load debit card called ( Qantas cash )
or google , https://www.finder.com.au/qantas-frequent-flyer-vs-virgin-australia-velocity-which-is-better
DO NOT CARRY YOUR PURSE OR WALLET IN YOUR BACK POCKET.
Happy Travels
