My Walk on Wednesday

Today is #WednesdayWalk initiated by @tattoodjay

Walking is one of the healthiest pursuits. Walking is one of the most enjoyable activities. When you are older, the walk is no doubt mandatory.

What do we mean from the above?

That we cannot get rid of the walk even if we are lazy.

My walk on Wednesday

In Bucharest, I say again, the capital of Romania, the city where I live. There are many parks. My favorite is even bigger, her name is Herastrau. However, the last ride was in a smaller but very new park, it is still under construction. It is called Bordei and is an extension of Herastrau Park.

This is a new park, less known and therefore fewer to walk. Perfect for families with children, for cycling.

Fishermen are not disturbed ...

A walkway was built, especially for cyclists but we were not disturbed. No cyclist, although this sport has become very popular.

After I cross the bridge, a last look at the new park that needs improvement...

...then we passed the old Herastrau Park, a guaranteed beauty.

Finally, the first temptation appears. Boiled corn! It was split with pigeons.

We walked more than five kilometers. A little rest is welcome. We look at those who walk. They are all ages, from old people to children.

And yet, where are the bikers? All the walks so far were quite dangerous because of them. Now their special track is empty!

We fast forgot the bikers because something nice is happening. A young girl performs famous songs from Romanian folk music. She sings very well. We have to stop listening. Of course, after we put some money. She plays there, in the middle of the park, because she needs money, for sure.

Well, the bikers also appeared. Everything is OK ... nothing has changed!

Our walk is over. It was a long and pleasant ride. I'm a little tired, I have to train.
At the exit of the park I saw a small monument. It was arranged in Michael Jackson's memory. That makes me remember you a beautiful song!

This was my first post in this challenge. Thanks @tattoodjay for the initiative. I chose to present this walk as a travel journal. I have presented a route in two adjacent parks, maybe someone will be interested in doing the same ride.
