Why steem is not at it's best...

...but it is very well on the right path to be at it's best.

This is how I see it. You can agree or disagree or look at it and have not a single care to give. But I sincerely do believe steem, steemit and all that is to it is right behind a tiny hurdle before it reaches ultimate sophistication and peak potential. Not perfect, but very, VERY close to it.

I am not asking anyone who hasn't yet come to terms with the new EIP or the hardfork, in general, to accept it. However, I'm asking everyone to pause a little and look at all the unwanted drama, irrelevant chaos, ugly mix and matches, and how everything that looks rocky and bumpy still makes a beautiful foundation of understanding and realization of what could be and how it could come to be.

There is no peace without war.

Maybe it is possible, but the peace obtained without war will always be under appreciated. You might already understand what I'm hinting towards. If you do understand that, then you would also know that where there is a will there is a way. People will always find a way around hurdles and always find a loop hole...there is no stopping that.

However, even if the EIP will prove to be the ultimate game changer or not, it has already proved to be one of the best practical teachers. The whole newsteem shenanigans with eip, sps, dv and what not has brought out many ideas and thoughts that could prove to be golden in the near future.

I consider this phase to be the calm before the storm. I have already mentioned in an earlier post that this for sure won't be the last Hf, and the cycles of Hfs will go on and on. The only difference would be that with every Hf we will only be taking a step closer towards something greater.

Bringing it all together.

We have already witnessed a terrific boost to the structure with tribes and we are expecting it to get better with SMTs.
I have spoken to a few people on discord and it's absolutely beautiful to see people find their own freedom and niches with the divisions. Steemit is looking better and is constantly developing to be better.

It's really cool to see that finally there is some breathing space in between interests which not only allows each individual to be surrounded by what they love but also allow each of these interests to be curated and supervisioned to maintain quality and dilution.

On a side note: there are some really interesting day-to-day conversations happening on discord groups. Every conversation more interesting than the next. An interesting conversation I can across the other day that one of the drawbacks of whatever is happening right now is in some ways leading towards a centralized structure with a translucent veil of decentralization.
