CONFUSED STEEMIAN ALERT!!! Steemit - A Trading Platform or a Blogging Site?!!
Recently I have been working so hard on my posts and trying to improve my photography, that I had completely forgotten about crypto trading, the original pull for me to Steemit!
The increase in SBD price triggered the trader in me again. I was suddenly transformed from blogger to investor! I realized all my SBD from payouts on my posts over the last few days and used the open market to trade SBD for STEEM, making a nice little profit. The SBD price seems to be heading back towards the usual $1 mark again, so I am not sure the trader in me will stick around for long, but it goes to show if you have the ability to be adaptive on this platform, it can pay. It also keeps it interesting for me!

I love Steemit for the content. There are so many brilliant writers and artists on here that I would never have come into contact with before exploring this platform. I have discovered a love of photography that I didn't know I had and I am forever grateful for that. But before I came here, I was learning about cryptocurrencies and trading, mainly with BTC and ETH. In fact, the first SP I purchased was using ETH... I was a trader, not a blogger!
I am now sat here confused as to who I am... Am I a blogger/amateur photographer or am I a cryptocurrency trader? Why can't I be all of the above! :D It is a little confusing, having to keep swapping my hats and I am not sure I will be able to multitask to be honest (I have a short attention span lol), but it is certainly worth bearing in mind that you do not have to be exclusively one or the other here on Steemit.
All of the cryptocurrencies that I held before starting here, have been invested into this platform so I don't have anything to trade outside of steemit; however I did feel the excitement again whilst trading on the internal market, so perhaps I should start to look at other crypto's to keep the passion and knowledge alive!

@beautifulbullies, initially when I came to steemit I didn't have any idea of what cryto was infact I hated it because I was scared once with it. When I came to steemit I started see post on crypto an I began to understand and lucky me I was able to convert all my SBD to steem when it was about $0.5 I haven't had much rewards this week but depending on the price of steem Next Week I might still convert my SBDs

Haha! Not confused here. I am a trader and a blogger on different sites before jumping here. But I learned more about #photography and enjoying #macrophotography here. 😊
aww I am a little frustated with my macro images lol but maybe my trades can buy me a new camera eventually! :D
I am only using Camera+ iOS app I bought for $2.99 2-years ago. It has MACRO feature but I just started to use it recently. 😅

And i don't know whats the deal with SBD, few mins ago it went as high as 1.8, maybe more but i was asleep lol!

If you have SBD, it may be worth you trading it for STEEM before the price gets back around $1.00, although I am not a financial advisor, so please do your own research ;)

You can be all of them!! The great thing about steemit is that you can trade like Billy-o with your earnings and it doesn't hurt quite so much if you pick a bad horse :0D

I had a similar response a few days ago as well. I found myself spending more time watching the market than writing. lol It was very interesting and I too took advantage of the opportunity. I turned 500SBD into nearly 800 steem. But in the end, it is about the writing for me as I use this to share knowledge and experience. The financial support helps me keep going! So for that I will be more vigilant as I learned a lot about how this works over the last few days. I'm not a trader, but I did well!

thats why steemit is great. you can earn frm blogging and then yoou can raise your SBD by trading it on internal Market. thats awesome. its good to start investing in cryptocurrencies. so keep blogging and have a look on market everyday and trade if you haev some SBD. good luck.

pop up like a genie in the bottle..this one is easy to decide..choose the one that can be used to fill up your gas full at all the time when you need it. Use your creativity with your photo to invite more interest to attract the whale and the blog is to channel your progresses and to keep some informations and show em off ...haaa trader, blogger, photographer are good combination it was just like to have a perfect link all you need is to find more keys to unlock ..to be continue... lol
