1300 Followers.. another steemit milestone!
Wow, what can I say..
Maturity on steemit means getting through a new virtual world. I never thought a social network could keep me engaged this long without knowing one soul.
It’s true that many if not a majority of my followers do not engage so often with me. That is fine! I don’t expect them too. Maturity means experience. I have seen flag wars, bot wars, calm skies, flags for wrong tags, and of course a few lucky @blocktrades upvotes!
It’s a very different experience here on the permanent blockchain. I am true to be myself with nothing hidden. I don’t beg to be upvoted; I just write what I feel. Sometimes the simplest things get great rewards, while well thought out time consuming blogs get little to no attention.
But that’s steemit! Write what you feel, not what other people want. Just be yourself and try not to get frustrated. Posting and engagement is key. You never know what will get noticed.
In any case, I know who my regular curotars are , and I can count them on all of my fingers. I really want to thank them most of all. I see we generally support each other, and that means this is a fluid environment that has a real social aspect to it.
So don’t give up minnows!
