SPUD8 Power Up Update

Almost There
I have had a goal of reaching 2500 SP by the end of the year, it is looking good for that goal to be met. So to reach that goal, I have been taking most of the small rewards from the various coins the non-powered up parts and converting them to steem. This has been a slow process, so I have been powering down some of my #beer tokens and converting them also, (kind of a shame really since they have gone up in value, but that's why we buy tokens I guess to sell in the future). With the beer tokens and other tokens and rewards from the last few days, I have managed to save enough to power up 38 SP. (Had to save 2 Steem out for weekly donations I do on Sundays.)

This is my first #spud / #spud8 post. I have been keeping about 10-20 SP liquid for a long time and powering up when I get more than that. As I go over about 25 SP, I power it up and knock my liquid emergency fund back down to 10 SP, but for this event and since it is so close to the end of the year, I decided I would save some over the last couple weeks, and participate in #spud8.
Total Steem Powered up: 38.854
Total Steem Power: 2,419.188
In a few days @abh12345 will be doing his monthly round-up, (I hope), and I'll be putting out my monthly progress report. I find it pretty handy, as an example I have gone from having a 33.76 monthly SP average for Feb-July to earning on average 81.76 for the last 3 months (Aug-Oct). Back in Octobers report it was looking a bit iffy if I would reach 2500 SP or be just a bit shy of it. I think I will be real real close if not maybe a little bit over the goal now. Time will tell. My October Progress Report. A quick look at my numbers on steemworld looks like November will have been a good month earnings wise. So I am really looking forward to the round-up from Asher.

Most welcome, and by the by, selling my monster cards now, they made it cost more and take more cards to level up, greed you see, it gets the better of them all.
More cards, and more complications, there were to many changes going on for me to keep track of it, you had to be full time steem monsters, and that left little time for other online activities. The tourneys took a long time, were mostly poorly run, and you had to sign up for another service to enter the tourneys, and then you needed to be in discord, and me and discord were having issues, I did not, still do not, like discord.
The "Next Colony" game is going the same ways as steem monsters, as did "Drug Wars". I think the next block chain game I try is going to have to of been out for at least 18 months before I will try it. 3 strikes, not a good run for me on block chain games. Fortunately I have spent zero on drug wars or Next Colony.
Good concepts on the games, but put into play far to early.
And I just like you, just cashed out, only so much time, not putting it into anything that costs more, for them. The greedy never learn do they!
When people live their lives being all about the money, they do not even see it as being greedy any longer, just their way of life, a poor way of life in my opinion that only leads to a life of misery and hell when their little house of cards gets blown over by some 18 wheeler delivering the next great thing to your nearest convenient place of buying all things you don't need store.
And the ironic thing about it is, money is backed by nothing. so they compete for? Fuck all.!!!¬!¬!

Hi @bashadow, great to know you are powering up that Steem. But If you aren't powering up JAHM or posting about reggae music and the Caribbean why are you tagging it? We have a Jahm Power Up Day, JPUD too!

That would be fine, Thank you, I know pigeons are everywhere, but in Alaska they really are not much of a nuisance bird,(we don't have a lot of statues in Alaska). I was rather surprised when I saw him.
