Boredom during a long wait.
Boredom during a long wait.
A long wait for something is what, de jure and de facto, breeds boredom... you know, the kind of prickly boredom, like the prickly skin of a chestnut you've decided to bring home, put in your pocket, but forgotten it's thorn-free.
Although, boredom is like the woman at the blood bank who spends a long time methodically trying to find a vein in your arm with a thick needle, but she can't find anything... but that's when you can't help but knead boredom, or replace it with something fun, or at least useful.
You know, those moments in life that I would have called boring before because of the wait are no longer so now that I have a camera, and I even stop liking long waits; all kinds of thorns have lost their power for me.
Yes, sometimes, at first I can't figure out why I take pictures of it... just to practice my skills.
I don't think about whether it'll be of any use to me at the time, and that's already a benefit, because it helps me forget about boredom. Lol.
