I am AyeshaGul and today I am sharing my achievement 2 post which is all about basic security on steem .I didn't know very much about the security before but I learned so far by reading from others posts .

Here I am sharing my knowledge about basic security of account step by step .and will be replying all questions .

• Question No 1 :
  Have you retrieve all your keys on Steemit ?

Yes I have retrieved all the keys by downloading a PDF file when after signing up first time .in that PDF file there are four keys such as

• Posting Key
• Owner Key
• Active Key
• Memo key
  All these keys have their own unique functions uses.

Question No 2:

Do you know each of these keys function and restrictions?

Yes I know some of the functions and restrictions of each keys which are as follows;

Posting Key:

The functions of the posting key is to allow the account to post, comment, edit, vote, follow others.

Active Key:

Active key mostly uses for making transactions such as power ups and downs, converting steem dollars or to update market profile.

Owner Key:

Owner key is mostly used to change any key of an account. Most probably it is used to recover a closed account.

Memo Key:

The function of memo key is to encrypt or decrypt memos during transferring of funds.

Question 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have kept my master password very safe firstly I have written it on a printed paper. I nobody has

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?

In the starting I didn't really know how to transfer something from one account to another but as the time goes up I understand how it does.

As I have mentioned above that active key makes all the transactions. So firstly open your wallet page there is the option of steem dollars and a drop-down button next to it ,I have also taken a screenshot of it which is shown below, click on the drop-down button then choose transfer from it, after that fill the form and make transactions.

QUESTION 5

Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes I know, it's really simple go to your wallet page there is the option of steem and a drop-down button next to it, click on the drop-down button then choose power up from it as shown in the picture below, after that you can power up your steem.
