The most important spiritual decision

In this video (that is again one of my all time favorites) Matt talks about the power of surrender to the divine. Doesn´t matter if you are already on a spiritual path or not - the more you try to control life and its outcomes, the more stress you will experience in your body.
One way to define stress is, that you apply force (either on yourself, others or life situations) to make it move into another way than its already moving. In other words:
Stress is the force you apply to control the stream of life.
The moment you surrender to the universe and admit what you are not able to do, the force and control end and with them the enormous stress you experience.
It´s that simple - but for an ego, that thinks, that things will go astray if it doesn´t apply force and stir the ship of life into a certain direction, surrender is threatening.
In the end, this is what ego is all about: the belief, that I can control life and I know what´s best to happen and this basic belief comes with a huge price tag.
So just try it out and experience how it feels, to just for some moments, you surrender your need to control and admit, that you don´t know (best) and ask the universe to do things through you.
It´s not that hard, when you face the fact, that you were not able to control or resolve a "problem" anyway, so why not admit this fact and surrender to the universe by asking it to resolve things for you.
This is a very freeing experience and you can have this relief instantly, with the help of Matt in this video.
