One of my favorite animals is the Giraffe, I'll tell you a bit about it.

The Giraffe: Mammal ruminant, indigenous to Africa, five meters high, long and slender neck, the abdominal extremities much shorter than the thoracic, resulting in the lower body behind; small head with two little developed horns, and yellowish coat with leonadas spots.

Giraffes have the shortest sleep cycle of all mammals. They only sleep between 10 and 120 minutes every 24 hours, which averages 1.9 hours per day. Since these animals appear to be always awake, in this sense they do not have much in common with most human beings. If we slept so little, maybe it would mean that we suffer some kind of insomnia. However, in the case of giraffes, it is not a sleeping sickness that keeps them awake, but it is simply the way God has made them.

As anecdotal note that the giraffe to leave the belly of his mother and manages to stand, the mother kicked repeatedly, for those who observe this scene may think it is somewhat cruel, because not the mother just tries to strengthen their legs to that can integrate immediately to his flock and manage to survive on his rodents, just as our parents educate us to survive in human life, that way is done by this fascinating animal.
