Let's Keep Moving (Actifit Report: Sept 16 2019)
Monday is a day with new energy, because after the weekend holidays the mind and energy are recharged again. With new energy and a fresh mind, work becomes more focused and disciplined.
Today my work at the hospital begins with carrying out a radiological examination of patients referred from the emergency department, this patient has a bloated, tender stomach and hasn't defecated for a week. Acute Andomen is a diagnosis that often occurs in patients who are not smooth bowel movements and there is a problem with digestion.
In radiology for the initial examination is usually performed abdominal radiology examination with three positions namely AP (Antero-Posterior) supine, AP erect and LLD (Left Lateral Decubitus). Each of these positions before examination must be allowed to stand for 15 minutes so that the air in the abdominal cavity is in the position in question.
Patients with a diagnosis of acute abdomen are infuriating with death because they do not get immediate help. Patients with this complaint will experience extreme pain in the abdomen because the air in the abdominal cavity cannot get out, acute abdomen is usually also accompanied by tightness.
