Watching Bohemian Rhapsody was the best 2 hours of total entertainment ....
I love Queen music, the CD is cranked up high whenever it is played at my house. Being a baby boomer gives me an added edge, I have been a fan forever or that is what it feels like. I was not missing this movie for anything. So @memo reading your reflections on this movie made me even more determined to see Bohemian Rhapsody. Thank you for your post.
It was not surprising at the ticket office to hear that only a few lots of seats were free and when asked where would we like to sit, I was too received to care, as long as we had some seats. Would you be surprised to hear that we sat in between two other baby boomer couples? It was easy to pick them!
My rating for the music, the humour, the storyline, the acting, the singing and the actors has to be a 10. I felt a gambit of emotions ranging from elation, to amusement to sadness over the 2 hours. Rami Malek was brilliant and loved his singing. learning so much more about Freddy Mercury's story. Seeing the youthful Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon once again was a joy. Queen was back! The urge to sing along was intensely strong and my foot kept stamping ...... quietly.
Would you be surprised to hear that the baby boomers were still sitting listening to the music to the very end, getting the very last drop of Queen?

Hi janton, all ages appeared to be in the audience. Maybe I was more aware of the baby boomers being in the age group, lol.
I probably would have been surprised at the number of them because most of them probably don't go to movies as often as the young people, at least not over here.
