Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide],
They comfort and console me.

Même si je marche dans la vallée de l’ombre de mort,
Je ne crains aucun mal,
Car tu es avec moi : ta houlette et ton bâton, voilà mon réconfort.

Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte,
