More progress on my daughter's greenhouse

Hello, steemians!

This last weekend, I spent both afternoons working on my daughter's greenhouse, trying to get the roof finished. I had all of the roof panels installed on the front side of the roof, but the back side was still open the last time I had worked on it before I got sick in September. This is how it looked at that time. Apparently I didn't take a picture after I installed the last 2 panels on the front side.

I didn't think to take a picture before I started working on the back roof on Saturday, but I did taker a picture after I was done putting on all the panel supports. That was all I got done on Saturday, I ran out of daylight. I actually took this picture on Sunday before I started working on the roof again.

Here I am, working on the roof. I had a 2 X 10 up on the top of the wall and on the center support to stand on to make it easier to work up there. You can see the end of the 2 X 10 sticking out past the top of the wall over the open door. My daughter took these for me on Saturday.

I had originally intended to use metal roofing on the back of the roof because it faces north and light doesn't come through from that direction. My daughter wasn't thrilled about that idea, so I was looking for other ways to cover the roof. The local big box store had 8 foot polycarbonate roof panels in stock that were tinted, that was what I ended up using. I needed 4 foot sections of roof panel to cover the space from the roof peak down past the edge of the wall, so I bought 3 panels and cut them in half, that gave the material I needed to finish covering the roof.
Here is how that turned out. The picture is fuzzy because it was getting dark and the shutter speed was slow.

I still have to cover the gable ends of the roof, and a few other things such as plugging gaps and openings, but at least the roof is done now. I'm going to use sheet plastic to cover the front wall of the greenhouse for the winter, I don't have the time or money to get the panels to cover the window openings this year, and the plastic will make it usable in the spring. We're supposed to have a couple of decent days coming up this week, so I should be able to get that done, I hope. I really don't want to be finishing this up in the snow.
