@allaboutpastries: The Most Useful Printed Aid You Can Have in the Kitchen - CONVERSION CHARTS! Plus More Links to Interesting Posts
If you are serious about cooking then you must have access to Conversion Charts.
I look for many interesting recipe from throughout the world. I find lots of great ideas but, they nearly all require converting to the units of measurements I use. Yes you can go online and convert; I however would rather have them pinned up on my kitchen unit and be ready for action.
So, I have just spent the last two hours cutting and pasting each image from word, into GIMP to modify as .png files: a suitable format for this post.
You can download copies of these charts if you wish to. They cover cups, imperial and, metric conversions comprehensively. There is also various common ingredients covered, and an oven temperature chart.
I give them freely with my love!

That's cool Good job. That comes in useful.
Glad you like it. I enjoy being helpful. X
You are so right! I think everyone needs a conversion chart handy. When I first started baking I was lost! I was always looking things up and if I didn't I made big mistakes.
When I was growing up my Grandmother baked all the time. She baked for us but also for the community we lived in. She made custom cakes for everything from Birthdays to Weddings. I never saw her look anything up or even measure for that matter. Lol Hopefully one day I'll be half as good as she was. Until then, I'm using my chart daily lol 💕
I have been professionally working with patisserie for years and would never do anything without measuring first as it is the only way to get consistency of product. Chefing is an art, baking is a science! A very few people have natural hand/eye measuring ability, I have not. The moral to the story is....carry on measuring. Love your anecdote. X
