Hello friends, as I promised in my article The joy of being present I will proceed writing about the concept of here and now.

One of the tools to become present is to watch your thoughts, to be mindful of them without judgment, and to allow them to exist without resistance. Notice how thoughts and emotions affect each other. While watching notice the short gaps between thoughts. In these gaps the mind is completely silent. With watching the thoughts you slowly start to realize that they are not part of who you are. You will get more unidentified with them and connected to the reality of this very moment.

Never forget that past and future are products of thoughts. With fading of thoughts the suffering caused by pondering past and anticipating future will diminish.
