The road to Steem Fest | A trip down memory lane - my view

my friend, Eric aka @anomadsoul, started again the #roadtosteemfest challenge, together with @blocktrades.

As @anomadsoul was my secret crush, or the guy whom I wanted to drink something on #steemfest, I needed to take part in this challenge series. When I better think of, I take part in most of his challenges as i find them intriguing.

So let's start, I traveled to Krakow by car, which is an insane thing to do coming from Germany, luckily my German tank behaved well and brought me fast as a blitz to Poland.

As I had some space in the car, I picked some guys from the airport up, @velimir and young Velimir, @crimsonclad and @.... The last two have been a pleasant surprise as they have been so nice. Maybe because they are Canadians, but if I think of Crimson, I think of the Canadian who has a rough language, but in a nice Canadian way.

Arriving at the main hotel. the Qubus, I've meet some of the Steemians who arrived. Some of them I knew before, like @reiseamateur with his lovely wife, the twins @rivalzzz and louis88 and many more.
Outside the hotel,I got help from the polish crew like @noisy for example as I almost got a ticket. Thanks guys for keeping me safe.

After another tour at the airport, the party started. Here I encountered so many cool Steemians, which I will not mention anymore. Also the tequila man appeared and he recognized directly, even if I bet he was utterly drunk.

We went from Qubus in the city where we went into a bar that was about to close. I can only shoots, and many of them. Here the name @blewitt comes to my mind. It sums up the whole evening if you read it like I do, blew it. It was funny, as I was drinking with him the many shoots on the table. Only after hours we came to the conclusion that we have been speaking before, also on discord. Well the world is small.

The second started good, I did not needed to walk to far away as the venue was right next to where I stayed. Well, I woke up 15 minutes before it started and got perfectly on the spot there. I enjoyed the many presentations there,especially the one of @steemcafe which was energetic at least, I would say.

The official dinner happened also in here.

The third day started with the conferences in ICE center and ended with the bowling evening.

The conferences and the workshops have been very interesting, @sorin.cristescu showed us for example another way to use the blockchain, more precise for government use, which could save a lot on administrative costs.

I will skip the other dates as the post becomes to long and my mind kind of blurish after the exact ime plan of the events but I can say that I felt and enjoyed this:

sadness - at Auschwitz-Birkenau
joy - at the disco party where I managed to drink a shot with another Canadian, who can name the Canadian get's some SBD
tiredness - after the #beersaturday event hold by @detlev
discontent - as I have to live a day earlier on the Sunday morning
