MYSELF INTRODUCTION TO STEEMIT.

Hope you're doing great?

I'm new here, which is why I'm writing this to properly introduce myself. I'm Ajah Daniel, professionally known as Danajaz_ arts and registered as Akazu on Steemit, a visual Artist from Delta State area in Nigeria. I grew up loving all kinds of arts and I was fortunate to practice most of them as a kid, using the materials I had around my environment. Though, it wasn't easy growing up having the passion for art in an environment where art wasn't appreciated, I could remember been flogged many times for drawing on the wall, on my school note, and even for tearing my note to make paper craft.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT

I got to know about this platform from a friend @ezunjoshy some days back. He told me how Steemit is helping a lot of people around the world by rewarding what they do and truly, I'm amazed at what I seeing here. Thanks @ezunjoshy, @steemit and all that worked together to put this amazing platform in place.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

I would have loved to you my family picture on this but I left home at a very young age so I was not opportune to have a present family photos, which is my reason for using one of my pen sketches of a mother and son to represent my family. I'm from a decent family of seven, mixture of boys and girls who have all grown. I'm the second child but the first male child with a tiny stature and a broad shoulders carrying so much responsibilities.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I completed my primary and secondary education while living with my parents, then moved to Lagos Nigeria when I was 18 to live with my uncle. There, I had the opportunity to enhance my knowledge on art in talent art academy in 2010-2014 and also learnt painting and a little bit of sculptures in painters world before studying fine and applied art in Highschool.

MY HOBBIES

I love listening to good music and also I'm a singer in my church choir.

I love football so much though I'm not very good in playing but I'm an expert in playing it on my mind and in my Android phone.

Above it all, I'm a lover of arts. Be it performing, visual or liberal arts.

CAREER

I worked as an art instructor for so many years, teaching art in different private schools and also helping and encouraging young talents who are faced with difficulties to pursue their art dreams. Of late, I stopped teaching just to become a full time visual artist because that has been my drive and passion.

WHAT I'M HERE TO DO ON STEEMIT

Over the years, I've explored many medium different from the known art materials. That I will bring to Steemit, all of my sketches and drawings. And I'm also open to learn new things, make new friends and contribute my best to ensure the growth of this great platform, and I hope to get rewards for my works..
