I sunk both my hands further into my coat pocket and suddenly became aware of the cool touch of metal from his necklace on my neck. My focus blind to everything around me but my watch. He was late, over forty five minutes late, not like him. I looked across the road at the bar, the better option!


Should I go inside and wait? No, he had been quite persistent we meet outside, by the parking lot.

I spun around when I heard a voice, one I instantly recognized. I felt dizzy. I felt sick.

“He’s not coming my love. The man of your dreams, you know, the one you were leaving me for ! Give me your case sweetheart, it's raining and your soaking. It’s time I took you home.”

This painting is one of my fiancé's. The short fictional story above is something I added as I felt the painting had so much emotion resonating from it & I wanted to capture that. Although you may see a different story :) - I have mentioned in previous paintings my reason for putting them on my steemit account and will post links below of the previous paintings. I love this painting . I think she is so very pretty and delicate.
