ADSactly Poetry : Lucid Lyrics Designed to Expand Minds (Part 31)
Hello Steemians! The ADSactly Poetry : Lucid Lyrics Designed to Expand Minds series is designed to be a sort of platform for sharing some of my greatest works with @adsactly readers.
Many of the verses I've shared and continue to share were written in collaboration with a friend of mine.
Others were written as solo projects and some made their way to the recording booth.
I've got another special piece for @adsactly readers today, this is a short verse which is designed for readers to 'sing-a-long'.
The background music I wrote it to has been embedded below. I dare you to give it a shot!
I really hope readers enjoy these and let me know what they think about them.
Pass me a pen and a pad pull that sticky green out of the bag twist one up like you didn’t give a what was I talking about the creation of intuition perhaps a gentle breeze of attrition inspiring a new recipe a blueprint allowing me to contemplate a new route to change my fate before I find myself in a situation undesirable just short of a disgrace left with no face I remain faceless.
But who are we to judge unless we’re on a name to name basis seems the fact of the matter is that the way we see the world like looking through a lens at a desert oasis a mirage at best a collage of misconceptions everyone I met seems to have their own unique deceptions but with an open mind I’ll proceed to give each and everyone my own unique brand of blessing.
This life we tip toe, prance, skip or backflip through at the end you’re the only one that knows what you’re fully up to and keep the deepest darkest secrets an unread thesis and you hold the greatest and most precious moments of your life the joy and happiness that justified all the pain that led to the gains now we feel alright each day ends with its night.
And when justice is needed we just might be called upon to be the knight in shining armor as opposed to the pawn and the savior without restraint no longer pegged to a dollar pledged to care for the ones we love and not be a monster another hungry ghost in this game of material possessions many lose the plot overwhelmed and obsessive.
But these monsterous thoughts add inches to my flow and just hear my confession now tell me whats real fact and whats fiction and lets get back to the mission what’s to stop this endless pollution of the truth to finally provide a solution for me and you the illusion continues seamlessly from A to Z on repeat the social programming can be hard to defeat.
But if the will is stronger than the lie it might just be a good use of time to try and break free of society’s roadmap and what they expected us to be connect the inner truth and finally be free break the shackles of humanity.

Wonderful lyrics. An indictment to social/corporate manipulation and a call for action.
We have been programmed to believe either of the two following things: 1 that we total control of what ee do and what kind of life we live or 2 that ee are "always already" screwed and therefore there is nothing we can do.
Both ideas are equally pernicious.
Pawns can be key in the game
I agree. Good point. If we buy the headline we'll be seeing things through a sort of tunnel vision rather than 3rd or 4th dimensionally. Its a trap to look at things so rigidly. We must be free to change our minds and perspectives given new information and experiences. Thanks for your thoughts.
Excellent lyrics, @zentalk. Free ourselves from social paradigms, from the material and superficial. Removing prejudices and living more sincerely must be our north. Make more value of the feelings and people around us to lead a fuller and happier life. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, @zentalk. In relation to your text, I'm going to express non-original ideas, as many thinkers have said similar things before me. I think we live in a world of illusions created, animated by society or by ourselves. I don't think that there is a single truth, in any case truths. But we can hardly access the definitive ones, and at once. What can help us is open intuition, present attention and "ardent patience," as Rimbaud would say. Greetings.
I'm sure if we check it out, we'll find the strings on the puppets. Puppets that represent their roles. Simple pieces of a big board. Life is a game and as in any game, you win or lose. Every move must be well thought out and every piece must be moved intelligently. There are no small enemies, no impossible wars. Every day you go out with your weapons and you fight with them. If you fall, you get up, and come back again tomorrow. In the end, maybe you get a standing ovation or the curtain simply falls in silence. Greetings, @zentalk
