100 million young people have a weak vision around the globe. This leads to harm their education.
To tackle this common problem, Vdwoxford has developed a lens which is customizable respect to eye weakness.
These glasses allow the wearer to tweak the lenses until they can see clearly.
The lenses are composed of clear membranes filled with silicone fluid.
When wearers adjust the lens power by turning a dial on each arm of the glasses, this adds or removes the fluid until the user can see most clearly source

You've hunt a thing extremely useful today. It is true that many children in the world are deprived of their due education, due to the problems of their eyes. The children are facing various problems for their eye problems.
Besides, it has been noticed in various cases that those who are using glasses are having problems with their power, because the power adjustment is a problem. But what you're presenting today is really great technology. It's self-adjustable vision glass. GREAT HUNT.
This is very good so parents and children alike will not have to keep visiting the optician for grade adjustment of the child's glasses. However, I am concerned about kids playing with the very high grade that may cause bad effect on their eyes. I remember when I was young, I played with my father's glasses with high grades. I kept using it as I wonder why my vision gets blurry instead of clearer. Then my father said I have a good vision so using a wrong glass with wrong grade will make my vision bad. That I think is the caveat to this device if kids are left to adjust the grade on their own.

These glasses helpful for kids and specially students , the parents are very happy from these glasses that're adjust lens power.
These look great, and it's refreshing to see tech targeting people in the developing world, rather than those who can afford to see opticians and buy "regular" glasses.
They must improve eyesight to a degree, maybe even significantly. But unless there's potential these "self-diagnosing" glasses can actually damage your eyes/vision, it'd be good to see this tech developed further.
As nano-tech and our understanding of materials advance (as demonstrated by these glasses), surely there'll come a point where regular glasses lenses can be improved upon, not only in the developing world, but for everyone.

Excellent! Self adjusting is a new concept for me but one that I think is key. As long as the wearer uses it responsibly it'd be a huge plus in my book! Nice hunt!
I am just here wondering why there is no adult version of this glasses because I think adults need it as much as kids or even more.
May be they will design for them as well, in future.
Great concept, to help kids who need a glass and also help parents to save money :) Could not find the price or where it can be bought. Looks like they are more into charity mode and looking for distributors to sell it ?
