The Corona Virus has Germany under control!

In order to slow down further spreading of the virus, events of all kinds (theatre, soccer games, trade fairs etc.) with more than 1000 people are prohibited.

I have cancelled the monthly Steem meetup, which was supposed to take place tomorrow in Munich. Possibly this will also affect the meetings of the coming months.

I very much hope that all these governmental measures will show their effect and that the virus will spread more slowly as a result. We here in Germany have to reckon with 10 to 20 000 or more infected people in the next few weeks. So far we have had to mourn 3 deaths, and the number of victims will probably continue to increase.

I have limited my own social contacts to the bare minimum, especially as I belong to the highest risk group that could be infected by the virus.

Um eine weitere Verbreitung des Virus zu verlangsamen, sind Veranstaltungen aller Art (Theater, Fußballspiele, Messen usw.) mit mehr als 1000 Personen untersagt.

Das monatliche Steem-Treffen, das morgen in München stattfinden sollte, habe ich abgesagt. Möglicherweise betrifft dies auch die Treffen der kommenden Monate.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass all diese Regierungsmaßnahmen ihre Wirkung zeigen und sich dadurch der Virus langsamer ausbreiten wird. Wir hier in Deutschland müssen in den nächsten Wochen mit 10 - 20 000 und mehr Infizierten rechnen. Bislang müssen wir 3 Tote beklagen, vermutlich wird sich auch die Zahl der Opfer weiter erhöhen.

Meine eigenen Sozialkontakte habe ich auf das nötigste beschränkt, zumal ich zu der höchsten Risikogruppe gehöre, die vom Virus befallen werden könnte.
