A Night Walk

Once a month I need a haircut. My hairdresser has her salon in one of the neighbouring communities about 10 km away.
After that I went for a walk, it was already rather dark. I was amazed how many cyclists and runners were on lonely and dark field paths with headlamps.
I also found this wooden bench in miserable condition at the roadside. Would I sit on it in summer? I don't think so, because it looked pretty rotten.
Im Monat einmal brauche ich einen Haarschnitt. Meine Friseurin hat ihren Salon in einer der Nachbargemeinden ca. 10 km entfernt.
Danach ging noch ein wenig spazieren, es wurde bereits dunkel. Ich war erstaunt wieviel Radfahrer und Läufer auf einsamen und dunklen Feldwegen mit Stirnlampen unterwegs waren.
Auch diese Holzbank in erbärmlichem Zustand fand ich am Wegesrand. Ob ich mich im Sommer draufsetzen würde? Ich denke eher nicht, denn sie sieht ziemlich morsch aus.
