Sky for today ~ Same evening, 4 random scenes

Some sunsets are quick flashes that you got to grab fast! Some, though, take their own sweet time to unravel the beauties of the universe...

I didn't manage to get home in time for today's sunset, although I could see the glow of a ruby sunset along the heavily tree-lined area I was driving through... So off I go to dig in my archives.... ~ there are still tons of undiscovered gems in here somewhere...

Shot these nearly 2 years ago, you can see the right side trees are bushier, before a storm that felled some of them. This particular evening took awhile to show itself (about half an hour) but when it did, it underwent some transformations, so the first shot looks nowhere near the last.

This is my Sky for Today.

A beautiful golden glow spreads...

The weather seems to change its mind, loses the golden glow, gets a little darker, as if threatening to storm some more! But I get a starburst from the sun! 🌞

Golden glow is back! Dark clouds develop a hole, and thins out a little... storm seems to be disappearing... Sun rays break through! And the birdies are out! Yayyyyy!!

Glow deepens... Perforations in the monster storm cloud grow, sun rays shine on
