Orchids for a Happy Weekend!! 🙂🌸

Yesterday, my flowers entry for monomad featured this orchid and someone had asked about its colour... well, here it is!

Found these at the local Ikea store which had brought in a whole new collection of plants and flowers for the up-coming Chinese New Year!

Pinkish, yellow-green with maroon centres!
Aren't they unusual? I found them unusual and had not come across any like these before...
All orchids there were selling for about MYR14.50 a pot or
approximately 0.6 steem (current rate)
Good buy?

I thought these little ones - each flower being only about an inch in size - were gorgeous despite their size. Very deep coloured and their size was actually an advantage as they appeared as little ruby maroon stars
from a distance.
Very pretty indeed!

I wish I had more time as I would have taken more shots. Alas, as usual I was in a rush, and almost didn't even get these...
Oh well, good excuse to go back! 😉
