Candle in the wind.... or dark...???

Candle flower... we used to call them that as kids...

The anthurium, or tailflower, or flamingo flower or laceleaf, and I have even heard them called 'naughty boy'! What a lot of names for one flower...

Well, I found this one huge white bloom, and took a number of shots of it!

The elongated spadix, with tiny spikes which if I read correctly are little flowers... huh?
Ok, I won't elaborate more....I might get it all wrong! Lol...

      Thank you! I suppose it is delicate even though the surface looks tough and waxy.... as it was already showing age or heat marks. They grow these in our highlands as it is too hot here in the city...
