# Club5050 || Let's all inculcate the habit of Powering Up... || 10% beneficiary set to @tron-fan-club

Greetings to all Tron fan club members on this our great platform, I welcome you all once again to my blog. Today I will be sharing with you all how I made my first power up. Although I haven’t accumulated enough Steem yet but the little that I have would be used to power up and grow my account.

Powering up is one of the best ways of growing your personal account easily and also helping in improving the development of the steemit ecosystem.

Powering up helps one to have more influence on other authors post through voting on them. This is because when you post up, you increase your Steem power as well which is used in voting, and the higher your Steem power the greater your vote influence on other posts.

It is a good habit of us if we try to at least power up 50% or more of our earnings in order to help promote steemit platform and also improve upon its value as well. Below are the procedures taken for the power up done.

First of all, I opened my steemit wallet and logged into my wallet using the Active Key.

After logging in, we can clearly see my Steem Power (SP) and then my available Steem which I want to power up from the screenshot shown above.

Next, I then clicked on the small arrow attached to the Steem coin that I have in my wallet, of which I clicked on Power Up as shown below.

Next, I then entered the amount of Steem I would like to power up (5.045 STEEM). After which I clicked on Power Up as shown below.

Next, I then confirmed the transaction by clicking OK from the next window that opened. This is also indicated in the screenshot below.

As shown in the screenshot below, my Steem Power has now increased from 11.450 SP to 16.495 SP.

I am very delighted and excited that I have been able to accumulate steem to do power up. I wish to continue powering up my account as soon as my payout is ready. I would like to use this opportunity to acknowledge the great work of the community MODs, Admins and CEO of Tron blockchain as well.
