That site works great and i've made a few trades there. Mostly with the casino coins i've acquired. Some are worth buying and some are worth selling. It will be interesting to watch as volume increases.
I get that Steemit is working on SMTs, let's face it, these are already SMTs. Sorry Steemit, you lose, Steem-Engine beat you to the punch. It's nice to see that others are picking up the slack.
The casino coins are the best to trade in my opinion because we have a better sense of how their cycle is going to play out. The actual dapps and services it really depends on a lot more than napkin calculations.
Interesting that the Korean community is so strong here! It really is a section of steem that is invisible to many just because we can't read Korean.
I'm Chris about how this token thing will play out... It is clear that people are following the course of the wider crypto ecosystem and not realising that there needs to be a reason for economic value... And that reason is in the hands of the buyers not the sellers and not the creators!
It seems like the filters are working as they should since communities that are not really relevant for us stay out of our way. However, what it also tells me is when Steemit makes a decision, if they don't have the Koreans on board it will be a very dangerous split. I wonder what would happen to the value if they just left? I mean it could potentially happen. SMTs will make this kind of stuff really easy.
The buyers are definitely the people who determine the value. The sellers can control supply, but generally from what I've noticed so far everything on that website is way overvalued. They did recently add more decimal places. The minimum sell value used to be 0.001 or 1/1000 which was way too high. I'm not certain how many more they added, but hopefully we see the total volume increase soon.
Frankly I was shocked with actifit. It's more about what people are paying for them to be honest. I think this will really help with some perspective.

That is a great question to ask some of the people involved with the project on Discord.
From my understanding they are separate and it will be up to the creators of the individual tokens whether or not to migrate over. In that case I imagine they will basically be transferred 1:1 and become void. However, since SMT will be new I imagine a few will want to wait a bit to see what happens when it is tried out. It will be cool if it leads to fights, I imagine if the creators try to change the economics it will wreck them, but if they offer the same conditions or like a 10X boost for everyone, it won't really matter.

The introduction of the steem engine has been a success leading to different sort of tokens created for different purposes. What still baffle me is how will the steem engine still look like after the smt is been introduced later in the future

Interesting thoughts... whoever thinks they deserve 0.3 steem for 1 AFIT token deserves a slap.
Perhaps @actifit cld add on that as an activity category.
I have actually sold some engage for 2 steem - so that's nice.
Besides that I like the !drama token, which I think I can call and the !beer token which I can't yet.
The dach token and UE tokens have a nice functionality around @nextcolony, it's just a shame the game itself is such a failure.

I guess it will be up to the tokens. If smt is great they will move quickly. If they decide to cheat us they will suffer accordingly.
