Fireworks in Montreal
For most of the summer, there are weekly fireworks in Montreal over the river. They are visible from several places, including the Jacques-Cartier bridge which is closed for cars to allow people to sit there and watch the fireworks.
I had fun shooting long-exposures of them last week.
The epic finale. Actually this was a minute before the end, as the real finale was ridiculously overexposed, the sky was white.

I used a Sony a77 camera and a Sigma f/1.8 lens, on a small Pedco tripod. Settings around f/8, 5 seconds, iso 100.
