BLOG #35 :WEDDING IN MY HOMETOWN💏💒💍 ( PART 1 )
Recently, I have less time for Steemit .. because I'm preparing for a friend's wedding. It takes about two weeks to prepare for a perfect wedding. I hope you enjoy this article, and support this article. I will split the article into two parts, because my time is very small.
A wedding in Vietnam is complicated and more steps .. The wedding was prepared on a vacant lot of space of 200 square meters and accommodated 1000 people. On average, a wedding costs about $ 10,000.

Each table of guests, there will be about six people sitting, with many dishes such as fried fish, shrimp, beef, chicken, cake, .. especially beer. These are the basic dishes that every wedding must have.

I will explain the customs of wedding in Vietnam. Certainly the wedding in my hometown is far more diverse and rich than a wedding in the West. And Vietnamese people are very fond of long-lasting love, so even though their families are poor, they still try to hold a big and large wedding.
1.The first is the “ Dam Ngo”,, this is a ceremony to formalize the marriage of two families. The entrance to the lane is also known as the gateway today is no longer the old way, but only the meeting between two families. The bridegroom asked her to let the bride and groom to travel freely, continuing the process of getting to know each other more thoroughly before going to the marriage decision. This ceremony, without the appointment role of the matchmaker and also no need for cumbersome gifts.
In essence, this ceremony is just a cultural behavior, through which the two families can know each other more (about family, family). So before touching the alley, the boys also have to choose a nice day to go to the family house to go smoothly, then everything is new.
In the day, the only way to get to the gateway is to go to Trau Cau, where there are even tea and candy in an even number. Two families talk to discuss the day, choose the date and other procedures for the ceremony and the wedding ceremony. On the other hand, gifts also indicate the love, respect of the bride for the future bride.To some extent, wedding gowns show the good intentions of the bridegroom's family: Please contribute materially to the bridesmaid to reduce the cost around the wedding.
The feast is eaten by the girl and a little bit of betel leaves to burn incense on the altar of ancestors. In addition, the girl's house is usually kept in two parts and returned to the boys in part. The house of the retained girl is used to invite the wedding.It is important to note in the ceremony that the bridegroom must prepare three envelopes for the bride, one envelope for the bride's home, one envelope for the bride and the bridegroom The remaining one is for burning incense on the altar of the bride's house. The amount depends on the girl's house.Finally, the bride and groom launched two families, pouring water, inviting the guests to betel. Wedding time and intervals are separated by 3 days, 1 week, or longer depending on the choice of beautiful day of two family.

Very nice preparation about culture the wedding. If I am not mistaken we have almost the same preparation about the wedding as I read you nice article about wedding.

My wife and I wanted to do a tent wedding, but we were worried about it being too warm. Lovely pictures and thanks for the explanation.

Yeah we looked at that, but then it started to get expensive. Like it was cheaper for us to do the wedding indoors than outside and pay for the fans.
Now I know how how to prepare for a friend's wedding if I ever visit 🇻🇳 :) enjoy your time out there!
