Here is the latest vlog! I'm finally back on track and should be back to doing daily vlogs now. It's been hot as hell here in New Yorkistan, but Murder Dog and I are still surviving. While most people seem to be celebrating on of the high holy days of statism, my focus is on hanging out with my kids and trying to avoide as much of the faux patriotism as possible. At least this will all be over tomorrow...

I can respect that! I have strong feelings about the governments role as well.

I wanted to suggest that you check out dlive, its a way better product than dtube. You can upload videos, they don't actually have to be live. Just two or three cents from me ;p

Thanks for the suggestion! I have used DLive a time or two but I usually forget to give that a shot when DTube is being difficult. I usually don't have nearly as many issues as some of my other friends here on Steemit, but it can get annoying. I will definitely remember to go the DLive route the next time I have issues. I also finally set up to do some live streaming, so I will hopefully be using DLive more in the future either way.

There are aspects of Independence Day that irk me, and I am too tired to deal with the fireworks crowd tonight. I completely understand your frustration with the plastic patriotism.

Dollar stores can be a great source for cheap gallon jugs of drinking water. The Dollar Tree chain stores here were a godsend when our water pipes froze somewhere in the middle of the yard in the dead of winter.

Yes, I am actually headed back to the dollar store tomorrow to pick up some more water. I picked some up even cheaper while in Michigan, but Murder Dog and I have used almost all if that by now.
