Very interesting, although couldn't a whale just game the system by tracking this information and upvoting first? Although I will admit that this type of gaming would theoretically give good content even better payouts and is far less flagrant than self voting. We'll see.
Yes, there might be attempts like that. But 1UP would probably be still very functional.
