We have been waiting for rain for a long time, in the last few months we have been hit by a long dry season and even the BMKG predicts that the dry season will end until the end of this year. Most of the residents' well water has dried up and we currently have a clean water crisis, even to take a shower we have to be willing to queue.

This morning I didn't even shower because there was a lack of water, the water I collected last night in a bucket was only enough for the children to shower, especially since my daughter Afiza has to go to school, it's impossible if she doesn't shower.

I can only use the remaining water in the bucket after the children take a shower to wash their faces. This kind of situation reminds me of 20 years ago, where water was very valuable at that time and I, who was still small at that time, had to walk to carry water using a bucket as far as 2 KM. Will this happen again?.. hopefully not!

At 7.45 am, I took Afiza to her school, before arriving next to her I also bought provisions because her mother did not prepare special provisions for today, it took a little time to choose suitable provisions for Afiza so that her nutritional intake was sufficient.

Buying ready-to-eat food is my least favorite thing, especially since the snacks sold on the lesehan usually contain lots of preservatives, but because today my wife can't prepare lunch for the children, I'm forced to buy the ready-to-eat food that is provided. around the school.

After taking Afiza to school, I stopped at a small traditional stall in my village, not many visitors came, usually the residents gather here to order coffee and some cakes when they want to go to the fields or rice fields, maybe because of the long dry season the residents can't working on rice fields because there is no water source that can be used for farming so conditions in the shop are also quiet without visitors.

About 40 minutes later I got up to go see the formwork work for the irrigation canal, there were 10 formworks that were being worked on by residents to then cast the irrigation canal. Farmers in our village still need irrigation channels to channel water to rice fields, but because now is the dry season, it is the right time for residents to work on casting irrigation channels.

In the afternoon at around 16.00 WIT, suddenly the rain fell very heavily, our area had been hit by a drought for a very long time which resulted in the water supply drying up and the residents being unable to farm due to lack of water, the heavy rain this afternoon made all the residents happy, at least with the rain this afternoon we can add boiled water for the residents' daily needs.

Even though the rain only lasted for 1 hour, it looks like the well will be filled more or less, especially seeing the puddles on the road, it should be better than before.

When the heavy rain continued, the children and I chose to just sleep, the cold weather made us very comfortable in bed, the children slept very soundly, how I loved them when I looked at their beautiful innocent faces.

Even though the rain only lasted for a short time, it was enough to make the afternoon cool. My wife cooked our favorite Indomie. She also made fried food. She said there was a lot of dough in the refrigerator that only needed to be fried, so there was no need to prepare much else.

In the evening I met with friends at Gataff Coffee, apart from having coffee together we discussed several things about the humanitarian program that we were initiating, our meeting produced many important points for preparation for implementing activities, we also discussed technical drawings and RABs that would be needed to carry out the program the.
