Pohang Homi cape, Korean travel

I went to Homi cape in Pohang.

From Seoul to Pohang, it takes about 3 hours by high-speed railway. I borrowed a car from the train station and went to the beach.

Pohang seems to be a well planned city. The residential area is well developed around Pohang Steel, and you can visit the sea side of the East Coast quietly.

Homi cape, you can see sunrise first in Korea. (Except for the Dokdo ..)

It is famous for its sunrise scene with its hand-shaped sculptures grabbing the sun, and it is a place where many people come to visit.

It seems to have seen the most people here in Pohang. There were many people who gave seagulls shrimp crackers, and those who took pictures of the sculptures.

포항의 호미곶에 다녀왔다.

서울에서 포항까지는 고속 철도로 대략 3시간 정도의 시간이 걸린다. 기차역에서 차를 빌려서 바닷가 근처로 갔다.

포항은 잘 계획된 도시인 것 같다. 포항 제철을 중심으로 주거지가 잘 발달되었고, 주변으로는 한적하게 동해 바닷가를 둘러볼 수 있다.

우리나라에서 일출을 가장 먼저 볼 수 있다는 곳이 이 호미곶이다. (독도 제외하고..)

저 손 모양의 조형물이 태양을 움켜지는 것 같은 모양의 일출 사진이 유명하고, 사람들이 굉장히 많이 찾아오는 곳이다.

포항에서 와서 가장 많은 사람을 여기서 본 것 같다. 갈매기들에게 새우깡을 주는 사람들, 저 조형물을 배경으로 사진을 찍는 사람이 많았다.

호미곶에 있는 하얀 등대이다. 가까이 가서 본 것은 아니고 확대해서 찍었다.

사람이 많았지만 워낙 넓은 곳이라 시원함을 느낄 수 있다.

경주 근처에 올 일이 있다면 포항의 호미곶에 들러보기를 권한다.

It is a white lighthouse on Homi cape. I did not go near, I took a close-up shot.

There are a lot of people but it is so wide that you can feel the coolness.

If you are going to be near Gyeongju, I recommend you to stop at Homi cape in Pohang.
