Zumba Mommies Go!

I can't emphasize enough, the importance of being healthy and fit, and staying healthy and fit.

From our own experience, nearing the mid-life age range (35-ish to 40-ish and up) and after at least two pregnancies (mine's two C-section operations), our bodies are not the same as they used to be. Albeit, our lives would never be the same again after becoming moms.

Our group of friends made it a point to do Zumba routines twice a week and some walking/jogging in between. I cannot even begin to explain how our classes-cum-meetings-cum-bondings have helped each and everyone of us to cope with our everyday life struggles. It's like having therapy, but fun!

That's why I am very thankful to @nikolina for making this #zumbachallenge. She made this to celebrate her milestone of reaching a thousand followers. She nominated me, though she does not know me. We just share the same love for Zumba. And how it has greatly changed us.

After our Thursday Zumba workout, I asked the girls to help me participate in this contest. I'm very thankful to all of them for being very supportive. We chose to dance to the original choreography of Nevena and Goran - Sua Cara. The song, by the Brazilian duo Major Lazer, literally means "Your Face" in English. We didn't finish the whole song because everyone was in a hurry. But, nonetheless, it was such an exhilarating and fun experience!

A big shout out also to Cathy for taking the time out of her busy schedule to hold Rubie's phone and take the video of us dancing.
To our instructors, Jonathan and Joseph who made sure we would stick to the choreography.
And to the Child Learning Foundation, for always letting us dance in the Sports Garden free of charge!
