Zombies in Helmets and Armor: How to Fight Them and Win!

What do you do if you’re confronted by an armored zombie? Or one that wears a helmet, like the ones featured in the movie World War Z? Here are some tips to help you fight zombies that wear armor and helmets.

Aim for the Face
You must always aim for the head when fighting zombies. The only way that you can kill a zombie is by destroying its brain. If you shoot any other part of the body, it will not stop the zombie from coming after you. One way to do this is to use a shotgun because they are effective at close range and they have enough power to blow off a zombie’s head with one shot. Another effective weapon is an axe or sword because they can easily cut through skulls.

Use a Sharp Weapon
If the zombies are wearing armor, you’ll need a very sharp weapon. Cutting them with anything less will just bounce off. You can’t use a knife because they’re not going to cut into it that easily and they’re not going to go deep enough. They won’t cut through most clothing either. You should also beware of zombies that wear helmets too because if you try stabbing them from behind, the blade is going to hit their helmet first instead of hitting their head so all your momentum will be lost.

Shoot for the Eyes
The idea of fighting a zombie is enough to send shivers down any spine. But with the proper knowledge, you can survive such a horrid situation. The first thing you need to do is learn how zombies are created and what they want from us. If a zombie wearing armor or a helmet, aim for the eyes. Shooting out an eye will kill them just as easily as shooting out a regular eye would kill them.

Attack Their Knees
When you’re fighting zombies that wear helmets and armor, attack their knees. If they topple over, they can’t get back up. They’re also slower on the ground than they are standing. So, when they do finally fall, you have time to run away before they get back up.

Be Prepared
When the zombie apocalypse comes, you’ll be prepared with these five tips. Stay away from zombies that wear armor or helmets, because they can’t be knocked out. Use a long stick to poke them when they get too close, then run away while they’re stunned. If they chase you, use a ranged weapon like a gun or bow. If you’re desperate, use the stab-and-move technique where you keep stabbing until the zombie is stunned enough for you to escape.
