The Israelis withdrew from Gaza in 2005 and then Hamas took over and started launching rockets later that year.
Also, 20% of the population of Israel are Muslim Arabs and they vote in the Knesset, run for office, use the same hospitals, use the same schools, and do everything that Israelis do
